Alice is a 17-year old singer songwriter from Southern Maine. She has written over 60 songs in the past 4 years, however, she started song “writing” when she was 3. Alice finds that song writing helps her express what can’t otherwise and finds it healing and the core of her happiness. In addition to creating her own music, Alice has enjoyed a variety of roles on stage in various musicals. She is currently a student at Windham High School, where she is the Vice President and former Assistant Conductor for the world renowned Windham Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Richard Nickerson. She first saw the Windham Chamber Singers in their yearly holiday concert, "An American Family Holiday", or "AMFAM" for short. Now being a member, Alice has had the pleasure of singing in this concert alongside Broadway talent such as Norm Lewis, Chelsea Williams, and Merritt David Janes, as well as artists Elizabeth Marshall and Dougie MacLean. She has participated in multiple years of the District II Honors Choir Festival. Alice has been studying voice for twelve years, and is currently studying with Matthew Scala of Waterboro, ME. She previously studied with April Monte of Cornish, ME, and Janelle Losciuto of Westbrook, ME. She has also taken guitar lessons with Richard Corson of Portland, ME.
